Close to the Chilean capital, you explore the fascinating landscape of the natural area of the Andes. On a five-day circular hike in the Torres del Paine National Park you enjoy the view on massive mountains, turquoise lakes and huge glaciers. Trek up to the famous peaks of Las Torres, explore the impressive Valle Francés, hike along the picturesque shores of Nordenskjöld Lake and marvel at the imposing Grey Glacier. Travel to one of the southernmost cities in the world and observe the vitality of the King Penguins on Tierra del Fuego. In the port city of Valparaíso, colorful hills, bumpy elevators and outstanding street art are waiting for you. During an entertaining cooking course you will immerse yourself in the world of Chilean gastronomy. And hike in the unspoilt nature of the Cerro La Campana National Park in the hinterland of Valparaíso.

Santiago de Chile

Day 1-4: Santiago de Chile

Chile's heart beats here in Santiago. And at the same time, it feels a bit like what gave this country its name according to a legend: Chilli – where the world ends. You visit the historical center of the capital. On the city hills of Santa Lucía and San Cristóbal you enjoy fantastic panoramas of the metropolis and the Andes. And on a hike in the El Morado National Park you can immerse yourself in the fascinating landscape of the Andes.


Puerto Natales

Day 4-6: Puerto Natales

You travel to Puerto Natales in the extreme south of the country, the starting point to one of the most important sights of the continent: the famous Torres del Paine. Before you start your circular hike in the National Park, you explore the special nature of this region by water and cruise on Patagonian fjords to the Balmaceda and Serrano Glaciers. It is rough out here and enchanting.

Day 6-10: National Park Torres del Paine

In an absolutely unique scenery and surrounded by international flair, you are going on a five-day hike along the famous W-Trek. You ascend to the base of the peaks of Las Torres, walk along the shore of the scenic Lake Nordenskjöld and hike through green forests at Valle Francés. On the last day you reach the renowned Grey Glacier. The spectacle of the massive ice field is truly overwhelming.

Day 10-11: Puerto Natales

After your sporty circular hike, you leave the phenomenal Torres del Paine National Park and take a shuttle bus, which takes you back to the small town of Puerto Natales in the evening. It is a good time to put your feet up and review your amazing experiences.


Punta Arenas

Day 11-13: Punta Arenas

You continue your journey to Punta Arenas, one of the southernmost cities on earth. This is where the American continent ends and this is how it feels. You cross the famous Strait of Magellan and watch the amusing hustle and bustle of the local penguin colonies. Enjoy the sparsely populated landscape of the historic Tierra del Fuego and the special flair of Patagonia.


Valparaíso

Day 13-16: Valparaíso

Back to central Chile, you stay in Valparaíso. The port city is famous for its sheet metal covered houses, its historic elevators and the outstanding street art full of political and ironic messages. You stroll through the alleys of the UNESCO awarded hills and get an impression of Chilean food culture during an entertaining cooking class. In the Cerro La Campana National Park you hike through green palm forests and have wonderful views of the mountainous surroundings.
